The Production module is the centerpiece of the e-SCM solution. Designed around the key indicator “OnTime In Full,” it enables real-time monitoring of textile industry production. This indicator is essential to ensure that products arrive in the warehouse in the right quantities, at the right time, and with the expected quality.
Thanks to a fine digitalization of the production process, suppliers can control each step, reduce delays and secure deliveries: a major challenge in the textile and clothing sector.
The platform also enables seamless and continuous interaction between procurement teams and suppliers. This instant communication strengthens the coordination of daily tasks: every stakeholder in the supply chain has the necessary information at the right time for smooth execution.
The module allows you to configure up to 30 milestones throughout the production process. Each milestone tracks a critical production task and constitutes the quality assurance to be completed within a specific timeframe. These tasks are digitized, tracked, and linked to milestones for clear, precise management without any loss of information.
We have structured the cycle into 2 key stages which are embodied by:
– OK PROD : This validates that all pre-production indicators are met (component availability, raw material quality, and conformity of pre-production samples (PPS)). This milestone authorizes the supplier to initiate production.
– The OK EXPÉ stage : which authorizes shipment only after complete production validation. This milestone allows the supplier to finalize the Packing List and generate shipping labels, thus initiating the transport and delivery process to the warehouse.
Throughout the production cycle, between each milestone, time is measured and controlled, as is the conformity of expected results in the event of Quality control.
For each purchase order, the supplier has packaging rules available in e-SCM. Based on the quantities produced, they can automatically generate shipping labels, packing plans, and packing lists. This improves logistical accuracy and prevents documentation errors.
Production planning in one click
A highly valued feature: with a single click, the procurement manager can generate an Excel file containing all supplier availability dates. This forecasting schedule is a key tool for anticipating shipments, organizing deliveries, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to distribution channels.
Compliant stock, useful stock
Quality control in e-SCM is particularly precise. The goal is to avoid unpleasant surprises upon receipt and to ensure that each delivered product meets expectations.
Result : By maximizing OTIF, warehouses receive stock that is actually usable for preparing customer orders, which optimizes sales and limits after-sales service returns.
