This workshop, organized in collaboration with Juliette Rihal from the consulting firm Cogence, explored how the digitalization of upstream processes can become a major competitive advantage. A company's performance is built from its upstream supply chain.
The discussions highlighted concrete levers for optimization: reducing lead times, strengthening supplier reliability, integrating traceability, sustainability and multi-tier collaboration at the heart of management, etc.
“The participants concluded the day by reaffirming their commitment to strengthening collaboration within the organization. Upstream performance isn't just a supply chain issue; it also depends on coordination with the product, sales, and finance teams. It's the overall coherence that creates sustainable performance.” Juliette Rihal, Cogence
Each meeting strengthens the relationship between the e-SCM teams and their users, in a spirit of listening and continuous improvement.
We warmly thank all participants for their commitment and contribution to this collective effort.
Thanks to them, the platform continues to evolve to meet the technological, regulatory, and economic challenges of the modern supply chain.

The e-SCM User Club is a community that brings together platform users and the e-SCM Solutions teams to discuss upstream supply chain challenges. Founded four years ago, it now has over 100 members, primarily from the fashion, luxury, and retail sectors. These meetings provide an opportunity to share field experiences, best practices, and user needs, ensuring that e-SCM evolves to better reflect operational realities.
The User Club goes beyond simply sharing experiences: users directly contribute to shaping the platform's development. Workshops provide a platform for raising issues encountered in the field, comparing best practices between companies, and collaborating with the e-SCM Solutions teams on new features. This co-creation approach helps guide the product roadmap based on users' actual needs.
The Club allows users to better leverage the platform while exchanging ideas with companies facing similar supply chain challenges. Participants can share their methods, discover new uses of e-SCM, and identify areas for improvement applicable to their organization. The meetings also provide access to updates to the solution and foster direct dialogue with the e-SCM Solutions teams.
Supply chain challenges are often common to several companies, but their practices can vary significantly. The User Club workshops provide a forum for comparing these experiences and developing concrete solutions on topics such as supplier performance, lead time reduction, traceability, and multi-tier collaboration. This collective intelligence enriches participants' practices while giving e-SCM a clearer understanding of the challenges faced by its clients.
Interactions with users allow e-SCM Solutions to identify priority needs and inform its product roadmap. Version 14, presented at e-SCM Connect 2025, illustrates this dynamic, notably with a new user interface, an Analytics module enhanced with supplier KPIs, and new modules dedicated to tenders, AI-powered invoice verification, and automated product label retrieval.
e-SCM Connect is a key event for the User Club, bringing together customers, industry experts, and e-SCM teams to discuss developments in the upstream supply chain. The 2025 edition in Biarritz notably combined experience sharing, collaborative workshops, presentations of new e-SCM features, and discussions on the supply chain as a driver of competitiveness. These meetings strengthen the dialogue between users and software vendors and help to develop concrete solutions to the challenges facing the sector.
