The watchword for these two days was innovation! Meetings between those involved in digitalization within the fashion and luxury industry and software and hardware solutions to optimize the supply chain, personalize the shopping experience, promote transparency and sustainability, leverage artificial intelligence, and much more. The focus was on artificial intelligence and its applications in the fashion and luxury sector.
IN: Hello, we're live from the eP Summit in Florence, so first of all, who are you?
CA : Ciao! I'm Caroline, I'm part of the sales team and I joined e-SCM for international development, particularly Europe.
IN: Nice to meet you Caroline, can you introduce e-SCM in 3 words?
CA : Three words…I would say Suppliers, Digitalization and Collaboration
Suppliers : because with e-SCM, suppliers return to the central place in the procurement processes and this helps to strengthen relationships with them;
Digitalization : We are here to promote a digital solution to work with all actors in the supply chain in real time, which I believe is beneficial for the future of the Supply Chain;
Collaboration : the e-SCM solution allows this visibility to be shared with all suppliers involved in the chain, and encourages teamwork!
IN: So why is e-SCM at the eP Summit?
CA : We're at the eP Summit because, as I mentioned before, digitizing processes for fashion brands is essential for increased productivity and performance. Our presence here is to exchange ideas, meet the key players who shape the fashion industry, and work together towards sustainable, productive, and efficient processes!
