This article is excerpted from the testimony of Caroline Anziutti e-SCM Business Developer in Forbes Belgium magazine ( No. 2, June-July-August 2024) . She highlights the multifaceted nature of digital transformation in the supply chain, ranging from regulatory compliance to operational optimization and customer loyalty. The transition to full traceability represents a strategic investment for brands, with potentially significant long-term returns.

The traceability market is booming: for over 15 years, the e-SCM Solutions digital platform, developed by the French company Belharra SAS, has been dedicated to supporting brands in the digital transformation of their supply chain. Caroline Anziutti , sales and business developer for the European market, describes it as providing complete, real-time traceability for companies at every stage of their production, right up to the transport of collections: " This makes it possible to guarantee quality at every stage of manufacturing, avoid overstocking, and develop sustainable practices ."
The Belgian company Bellerose is among the users of the software, "a visionary approach, considering the size of the company." The added guarantee for customers? The ability to generate a QR code applied to clothing labels, which consumers can scan to access the complete digital product passport for each item.
Caroline Anziutti points out that " these new regulations increase the pressure for transparency on brands, forcing them to work more closely with their suppliers ." But the reward? Returns on investment from the very first collection managed on the platform. " The brand will be able to digitize its entire supply chain process to collect data and use it to better manage its operations, thereby reducing certain operational costs ."
