Belharra is first of all a symbolic name. That of a legendary wave which sometimes arises off Urrugne, on the Basque coast. This is also the name that three passionate engineers have chosen to baptize their business founded in 2006. Their ambition: supporting local businesses, especially in fashion and luxury, in the transformation of their supply Chain.
From the first years, the team identifies a major issue in the fashion & luxury industry: the lack of visibility between the supplier order and delivery. Indeed Patrick Bourg, director of operations at Belharra/ E-SCM, in his interview for Voxlog specifies: “ We quickly understood one of his needs: the management and monitoring of his outsourced productions in Europe and in the world.” This is how E-SCM Solutions, a SaaS platform designed to centralize flows, digitize processes and improve the traceability of productions.
Developed as a priority for the needs of RIP CURL , the E-SCM solution quickly established itself as an operational efficiency lever. By centralizing the data, ensuring the monitoring of production schedules and eliminating the tunnel effects, it allows brands to gain reactivity and reliability. Then, the solution gradually seduces brands in the textile sector, including Petit Bateau and Eden Park.
An evolution towards a publisher model
In 2016, a large French luxury house solicited Belharra. This event marks a strategic turning point: the company then begins its transformation of a service company to a full -fledged software publisher. It strengthens its commercial and marketing organization, recruits new talents and structures its development.
It is important to note that Belharra is a human -sized with a corporate culture based on expertise and commitment to projects. Our agile mode allows us to adapt to the organizations of our customers and to meet complex functional challenges as well as large -scale deployments.
Our team is made up of 24 experts passionate about innovation and digital transformation of the Supply Chain, which mostly come from major fashion and luxury brands in France. As such, they are close to the issues of our customers because they have been faced with them themselves.
By digitizing the upstream supply chain, E-SCM allows marks to regain control of often fragmented processes. By centralizing key data (orders, schedules, logistics milestones, documents) The solution offers real -time visibility, facilitates coordination with suppliers and secures commitments. The teams gain in responsiveness, reduce manual tasks and more effectively anticipate vagaries.
This increased mastery of flows also meets the growing requirements of conformity and transparency. Thanks to structured traceability, brands can better control their operations, adapt to regulatory constraints and strengthen the reliability of their supply chain.
Committed to a collective dynamic, Belharra participates in the work of the Bali Chair, alongside key players in fashion, luxury and textile innovation. Estia and Pan T Xika Ospital engineers , E-SCM consultant, was retained by the European Parliament. A recognition which strengthens the legitimacy of E-SCM on the challenges of traceability, conformity and eco-responsibility in the textile sector.
Building on its results, Belharra is today initiating a new growth phase with the E-SCM Scale Up project. Objective: change scale and send international markets. The Danish sports equipment supplier Hummel is one of the first customers to benefit from this new stage.
Artificial intelligence at the service of the Supply Chain
Still turned to the future, Belharra now incorporates bricks of artificial intelligence in his solution, with an in progress pilot whose results are expected for the end of 2025. These innovations aim to further strengthen the agility and automation of logistics channels in a perpetual transfer sector.
For almost 20 years, Belharra has embodied a committed, innovative and deeply anchored company in its territory. Thanks to E-SCM, it offers fashion and luxury brands the tools to build an ethical, efficient and resilient supply chain, like the wave of which it is called.
