The digital transformation of the fashion sector!

This article is extracted from  the testimony of Caroline Anziutti , Business developer e-SCM, from Forbes Belgium magazine ( No. 2, June-July-August 2024) . It highlights the multiple facets of digital transformation in the supply chain, ranging from regulatory compliance to operations optimization and customer loyalty. The transition to full traceability represents a strategic investment for brands, with significant potential returns in the long term.

e-SCM software

DIGITALIZE YOUR SUPPLY CHAIN

Complete real-time traceability

The traceability market is exploding: for more than 15 years, the e-SCM Solutions digital platform developed by the French company  Belharra SAS has aimed to support brands in the digital transformation of their supply chain. Caroline Anziutti , sales & business developer for the European market, talks about complete, real-time traceability for companies at all stages of their production, up to the transport of the collections: “ This makes it possible to guarantee quality at all stages of manufacturing, avoid overstocks and develop sustainable practices .

SECURE YOUR SUPPLY CHAIN

e-SCM chooses Bellerose

The Belgian house Bellerose is among the users of the software, “a visionary approach, if we rely on the size of the company”. The additional guarantee for customers? The ability to generate a QR code applied to clothing labels, which consumers can scan to access the complete digital product passport for each item.

MASTER THE ENTIRE DATA

Transparency and management

Caroline Anziutti recalls that “  these new regulations increase the pressure for transparency on brands, forced to get closer to their suppliers ”. But the key: returns on investments from the first collection managed on the platform. The brand will be able to digitalize its entire supply process to collect data and use it for better management of its operations, and thus reduce certain operational costs .”
