Biarritz Good Fashion 2023 is a must-attend event for anyone interested in shaping the future of the fashion industry towards sustainability and circularity. Organized as part of Responsible Fashion Week, by the Chaire Bali and Paris Good Fashion, this event will be held on October 18 on the ESTIA engineering school campus in Biarritz. It will bring together fashion industry professionals, sustainability experts and committed entrepreneurs to explore new practices in circular, agile and transparent fashion.
Our e-SCM PhD student, Pantxika Ospital, will be reporting on her research into traceability and transparency at the first Biarritz Good Fashion! round table. During this discussion, we will explore the essential levers for encouraging the commitment of all stakeholders to circular economy practices, whether they be your employees or your customers.

The BALI Chair continues its commitment to circular fashion by renewing its partnership with Paris Good Fashion. The Chair has embarked on a new three-year cycle with the aim of transforming circularity into an industrial reality. Over the course of the day, the members of the Chair will present the areas of reflection and working groups that will guide their actions over the next three years.

Biarritz Good Fashion 2023 offers a rich program of high-level conferences.
- 09:30 | Opening session and presentation of the BALI Chair working groups
- 10:15 am | round table "How to engage employees and consumers in circular economy practices?" experts will explore ways of promoting new circular practices, such as repairing, second-hand and purchasing eco-designed products.
- 11:15 a.m. | Round table "How to combine economic, environmental and social benefits?" to discuss ways of disconnecting CO2 curves from those of sales.
- 12:15 p.m. networking lunch break at 12:15 p.m.
- 2:00 pm | round table taking up the challenge of scaling up: moving from the laboratory to the industrialization of circularity: how to support this change in companies and anticipate mutations?
- 3:30 pm | Pitch presentations by entrepreneurs working for more sustainable fashion: three innovative companies working for more sustainable fashion. They will present their development solutions aimed at contributing to the societal, environmental and economic transition of the fashion industry.
- 4:00 pm | Salon des Porteurs de Solutions Innovantes: an opportunity to discover start-ups and companies offering innovative solutions to reduce the textile industry's impact on the environment.
Finally, at 5:00 pm, don't miss the closing keynote, where an emblematic and inspiring industry player will share his vision of innovative, sustainable fashion. Previous editions have welcomed such personalities as Alexandra Broussaud, Director of Broussaud Textiles, Olivier Lapidus, French haute couture designer, and Eric Gagnaire, CEO of PATATAM.
After a day rich in discussion, knowledge sharing and inspiration, the event will conclude with a closing cocktail at 6:00 pm.
